Then it's not smart to upload multiple mirrors, because the download will now be spread over 3 mirrors, if you have just 1 mirror everyone uses that and it won't die as fast as if you spread the downloads...

But the reason for your backup is that if a link dies, you'll have two other links, right? Well, if you just have one link, it won't die as fast, so the back up isn't needed...
