Look, it's Technoboy's experiment that failed harder than the speed of fuck.

'undersound'... puhllllleeease. ;/

#3

marked as hot?! are you kidding me?

#4

I kind of like it. It's not best dubstep nor is it best hardstyle but it's enjoyable piece of music. :) Would've preferred for the dubstep break to be a dubstyle break though.

#5

So you're saying that adding a few sounds from another genre and put some ugly wall of bass behind it makes it worthy of calling a whole new genre? Dubstyle? Are you kidding me?.....

#6

Well whatever you want to call it, but http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LMF4siVrCfU sounds cool and I would've preferred that Audiofreq would've used a hardstyle bassdrum in the break instead of dubstep bassdrum

#7

Seriously, autocensoring of word "B A S S" is stupid... :/

#8

Then explain to me why this shit gets to be played at major events while the authentic roots of Hardstyle are nowhere to be found on the big stages, while Noisecontrollers can do anything they want with any kind of music and still get to play it on any main stage they like...

I'm not saying this music doesn't deserve a place of it's own, but damn, let the good old vibes give a chance on the 'big screen' (so to say) as well.

#9

u can thank q-dance for that ;)

I don't know, maybe because there's money in it? And doesn't B2S organize events that play older hardstyle with deep reversed bass and doesn't Defqon.1 have an area for earlier hardstyle?

Remember that hardcore also evolved like hardstyle did and both now feature melodies and really distorted kicks. Of course hardcore is more harder so to say but hardstyle is more varied, you have this really awesome raw sound like Gunz 4 Hire, then you have something party raising melodic tracks like Wildstylez, Noisecontrollers, etc. and then you of course have really weird things like this track. Oh and Theracords people make awesome music with their own way too.

I understand that some people might not like what direction the producers have taken the genre, and you are right in that sometimes it'd be fresh to hear a track that's true to the genre's roots instead of featuring a modern sound.

You forgot just one thing... Hardcore is spread into tons of subgenres, where the gay melodies, the messed up kicks... they all fall under the same thing: Hardstyle.

Making older artists lose their faith in their beloved music, putting them out of work. If you knew what I know about certain artists, you wouldn't be praising them if you have any sense of moral value, trust me, fact is, I can't tell you. But let me assure you, Scantraxx and Q-Dance are absolutely full of corrupt people.

#12

Of course they are, I know that much.

#13

Also I have to add that even though hardcore has many different subgenres they all still fall under the same overlapping genre: hardcore. It only requires some producer cracking off the mainstream and starting a subgenre in hardstyle.

#14

oh shut mr insider. you know jack sh*t. you're just one of those oldfags that cant get with the times and accept that music evolves.

#15
