The two tracks are Zatox - Creation (Defector Remix) and Defector - The Hollow Men (Original 2012 Mix).

Sjors, als je dit leest:

Creation Remix

- Vooral het gedeelte voor de lead maakt deze track tot een rommeltje, het lijkt eerder op een verkapte mashup.
- De bass is te zwaar voor de kick in de eerste build up en overstemd deze.
- De flow van de eerste build up die over gaat in het tweede gedeelte is beroerd... Te abrupt en alle kenmerkende elementen als percussie en kick/bass uit het eerste gedeelte valt weg, waardoor het de harmonie doorbreekt en het gevoel van een mash-up nog eens extra dik aanzet.
- Misplaatste, haast onzeker te noemen door de mastering, breakbeat achtige percussie in de build up van de lead.
- Build up en lead- kick klinkt nog vrij hoog en hol, ik denk dat je deze makkelijk een wat zwaarder karakter kan geven... Tevens vind ik de bass te zwaar om de lead in evenwicht te houden?
- Creation vocal vlak voor de lead klinkt net niet helemaal afgestemd op het ritme, wanneer je hem in kort staat hij nagenoeg haaks op het tempo van de rest van de track.
- Gevoelsmatig ga je soms een beetje overboord met je kick pattern, maar dat kan net zo goed een persoonlijk iets zijn :)
- Persoonlijke noot: Ik had graag een andere lead gehoord, niet zozeer qua melodie maar wel qua opbouw en geluid

Daar staat tegenover:

- Vette fx
- Screech heeft lekker veel body
- Verder wel nette afwerking buiten bovengenoemde zaken om

The Hollow Men:

Niet mijn soort track en derhalve eigenlijk dan ook niet veel op aan te merken, hoewel deze eigen productie aanzienlijk beter in elkaar steekt dan je remix van Creation... Opbouw, harmonie, kicks etc is allemaal net wat beter uitgewerkt. Corrigeer mij als ik er naast zit, maar ik durf er gif op in te nemen dat hier dan ook veel meer tijd in heeft gezeten!? Wel zou ik oppassen met het pitchen van je kicks, op deze manier verliezen zij snel impact... Het hele pitch kick is overigens ook een zeer persoonlijk iets!

If you would be so kind to run it through Google translate and see if you can get the big picture, that would be great... If it doesn't make sense (which I would understand, since Dutch is a hard language and Google Translate isn't flawless at what it does), check back in here and I'll rewrite it in English for you :)

really like the creation remix, my kinda hardstyle, can't keep stressing the fact that all melody-based pitchkicked crap should be banned. destroyed every hardstyle party i've been lately, which is the reason i only visit hardtechno events. keep this up.
and the other track...Hollow man... hmmm... read the above. CRAP
