NOTES
For the sixth release on his own imprint, Painbringer has invited
friends and respected colleagues to remix some of his personal favorite
tracks from his earlier releases on Cenobite and Mokum.
Expect undiluted hardcore with an old school flavor and the dance floor
in mind, with some new and unexpected shades of hard: Cemon Victa strip
“Dark Hadou” of its drum’n’bass influence and splash out rock solid
gabber beats on the tune; “Evil Streetz” (remixer undisclosed) is a slab
of gangsta core with a junglist flavour; close friend Lockjaw drops the
trance elements of “Afterglow” und pumps it up rave style, with moody
piano breaks and the looped command to “let the beat control you”.
Finally, Nerv Infection adds some grunt and fuzz to “On Da Edge”.
