tracks 2 & 3 sound more like mainstyle. that's the way rawstyle goes. if they go up 5-10 bpm more, then you have the actual mainstyle sound.
Don't be caught saying that logic around here, the rabid hardstyle/rawstyle fanboys will go apeshit on you. They can't handle that their precious music is just a slightly slower clone of something else.
Still insist with your stupid theories on slower hardcore... give yourself peace!
I bet instead that your "precious" music is a speed up clone of ... House ...
How you speak clearly seems an euphoric listener.......
Because house has granite hard industrial kickdrums and rythmic noise^^
So what are your problems if you follow industrial hardcore?! listen to that and don't complain about rawstyle or "slower hardcore" LOL
I follow all hardcore, but mainly Industrial hardcore nowadays, except mainstream now. It's hardstyle I blame for the complete utter mess that mainstream has become recently in the past few years. Granted, mainstream has been steadily getting worse since early '2000s, but now most of it just wants a piece of the hardstyle pie. Look at acts like Endymion, they actually used to do some pretty decent stuff back in the day like on Gansta and Enzyme, now look at what theyre like, all because of try to chase the $$$ in cheesy pop dance.
Yeah, but you cant't blame the actual music style for that. Even in hardstyle the really big guys try to work with influences from big room shit. It is all the producers fault, since they adapt to the market. So, if you want to make money you have to be softer so your shit gets accessible to all kind of people. It has always been like that, in every music genre, not just mainstyle. So, it is kinda normal that hardcore producers get slower and adapt to hardstyle even though, the results are not that great ;)
Btw, it has nothing to do with identity or being a clone or anything. It's just changing, some of the changes are great, some just suck...
ok, with this speech I understand what you mean ... but as well as endymion marketed themselves doing stuff more and more distant from the true hardcore, hardstyle also had this change when the leading exponents of the genre (Headhunterz, Wildstylez, Noisecontrollers etc. ) made a choice of money and popularity going more and more into something that was no longer hardstyle, but closer to house due to gay vocals and cheesy melodies.
The rawstyle exists for that in a certain sense, as opposed to the change that has had the hardstyle. before it was all just hardstyle, but now it is split into two opposing categories; euphoric and rawstyle are virtually united only by BPM. The rawstyle is the one that keeps alive the true essence of HARDstyle, as well 'as the industrial hardcore that you follow, compared to hardcore mainstream.
Those are both good replies, thanks. Seeing as you both actually seem to know your shit, could you mention any producers/labels that make *exactly* the same type of hardstyle I actually do like, which is the early hadstyle based more on hard house and hard trance, if it still exists?
That's a tough one man! A lot of people claim theracords to be the true core of hardstyle, since many productions have this typical "old" style. But hardstyle which is still based on hard house or hard trance, I don't know. The organ donors used to do music like this not long ago and maybe even still. Also, thilo and evanti and kidd kaos.
For me a typical hard trance influenced track is Crypsis & Kold Konexion - Sonic Sabotage. It sounds so different from all other crypsis productions and a lot like hard trance. It's from 2009 though...
In the present day I don't actually know much like that.
But if you want to just listen to the old stuff try lsdb.nl, they have so many old hardstyle sets.
I just downloaded like 15 sets from qlimax 2003, really good sound. But you also have usual DJ sets from today played by guys who like the early sound.
If you want the tracks or labelreleases its hard...
Theracords and Spoontech may be good for you then. Theracords early releases sound really classy imo and Spoontech usually has this "hard kick with nice melody" style. And apart from that ofc all the early releases from the big labels
No one here cares what anyone else likes. If you don't like it, don't download it.
