I respect him for how many works he gave to us and for this records as well, but I never like him so much and for me, he's from the very beginning an emulator of marc acardipane.

PROMO never changed his style and he NEVER was and will be mainstream like many other hardcore djs like angerfist or evil activities which started from the underground and now them are mainstream sh1t

Maybe he did.. in the beginning of his career, however acardipane hasnt produced shit lately so how can he still copy that sound ? Promo has his own true unique sound including the whole third movement label ;)

I was wondering a few things throughout all comments on promo...
1 Pro-No said "I respect him" while you mean his works by saying you do not really like him.
2 KZR said "never switched styles, everybody switches within a style, if you're saying he never made other music than hardcore than i say you don't know as well as i don't know. I want his harddrives with spare parts and music plays for the right price for sure ;)
3 Mainstream Sh1t ... first of all in irder to use the word mainstream name me the opposite ? Underground doesn't cut it. See the problem here?
4 Marc's sound is distinctive from hoff's i believe and for sure i definately listened more to promo than to overrated acardipane...
5 Third movement label ? Hoff is the thing marc never could, can or will be the emperor of the 3rd gen!
There also seem to be guys who can walk away with everything... Mainstream and guys that sometimes throw a mainstream release on a ep who gives a fuck as long as they aren't going back to commercial radio systems do you think ?

BHCS84 to say Acardipane is overated is fucking hiliarious! that's like saying someone like Scott Brown is overated considering everything he contributed, and all the different styles he's done and dare I say innovated. I would put Acardipane even higher considering he made the first ever Hardcore Techno track back in 89 which was released in 90.So everyone must be overrated. You have to be a noob in the scene because nobody who really knows Hardcore Techno/Gabber or Rave Music in general would say such a stupid thing, but hey nothing surprises me. who else was making dark stuff like him back then? PCP,Mescalinum United,Cold Rush,Rave Creator & The Mover,Pilldriver,Resident E,Marshall Masters,Nasty Django,6Pack,Ace The Space, etc etc etc.Not only was it a good laugh, but it showed how little you know and you just could have simply said you don't like him instead of calling him overrated - He is a legend and an innovator = nothing overrated about that!
