Goodbye hardcore, hello hardstyle...

#3

this is why I don't listen to amnesys anymore... xD

#4

becareful because Nobody might call you an ungreatful cunt hahahaha

#5

Sounds interesting. Fast beat but non-distorted kick. Would like if kick had more bass.

#6

Worst anthem ever...RIP Amnesys!

#7

sorry..i can't type correctly ffsrom the floor...

#8

Another piece of shit!! Amnesys = Boring...

#9

was waiting for the kick to come in, still waiting for that moment

#10

and this year the anthem is too much shitty that nobody wanted to do a remix of it like previous years...

#11

this track is the official hardshock anthem and is so good (sarcastic), that it isn't even of the cd?! seriously, wtf? traxtorm fails!

#12

Traxtorm fell off many years ago, in my opinion which is just that an opinion, if you disagree cool.. but I haven't been a fan of anything Traxtorm since maybe 2001 maybe even earlier than that and I still didn't really care for much of that label, as I think lots (not all) Italian Hardcore is cheese, or completely garbage, but there is and was awesome stuff.. so I'm not saying all Italian Hardcore is shit, because it isn't but the mainstream stuff generally is and pretty much always has been since I can remember.

#13

seems like everyone lost their hardcore...

#14

no, they only have changed it for money

#15

Seriously though, nobody in hardcore is in it for the money. The scene is simply too small to actually earn big and real money like the hardstyle/rawstyle or EDM artists. With a few exceptions (Angerfist, Partyraiser, DJ Paul, Evil Activities) the big names make about the same amount as anybody with a normal day job (taking into consideration that you don't build up a pension as an artist). People honestly have no idea how meager incomes of hardcore artists actually are.

That aside and now OT, this anthem sucks as an anthem. Granted, it sounds different, but not necesarilly in a good way. There are many "different" hardcore tracks out there that are better musically.

#16

Yes and no maybe initally they did not get into it for money, but eventually they start making music clearly for money like back in the day songs like I wanna be a Hippy,Have You Ever Been Mellow?,Luv U More, you know stuff like this? they are trying to appeal to mainstream audience or Euro/Dance crowd that go to top 40 clubs and such it's like in the same category as Vangaboys,Effiel 65 and all that other shit. Which is why lots of these guys have fucked off to Hardstyle because it is more "Clubbier" and "Marketable" than Hardcore is which is why they keep trying to water it down further so they can make it appeal to mainstream audience so they can start making big money like the cheese acts of the 90's. What you are thinking off you right there is no money in UNDERGROUND, but when they commecialise the sound than they can and do make money... does Skrillex ring a bell? pretty sure he's doing pretty well he took an underground UK genre like Dubstep and well you know lol started making his Brostep shit and same thing with Trap which is popular with rappers and we see it being fused with Jumpstyle,Hardstyle and Hardcore to make it more commercial and appealing to that audience. Same thing happened with House Music years ago..You can make money off of it just ask the guys who sold their souls lol

Dude, seriously, did you hear me talking about Skrillex or club music or top40? Do you see hardcore music in top40 charts at the moment? Do you think mainstream people that listen to Katie Perry and Vengaboys listen to (mainstream) hardcore? Do you see DJ Amnesys driving a Jaguar? Or even a Mercedes? Do you see DJ Neophyte driving a lamborghini? Do you think DJ Angerfist makes the same money as Skrillex or Deadmau5? Do you think Tha Playah is a millionaire because he makes accessible hardcore music and played the mainstage of Decibel? Do you think DJ Mad Dog has a huge mansion with jaccuzis and naked babes walking around? Do you think Partyraiser has two or more high end luxury cars? The answer to all these questions is: NO.

What I'm saying is there is NOT a lot of money in mainstream hardcore. Unless you are Angerfist, DJ Paul or Partyraiser, the highest you can get income wise is a normal income like everybody else with day jobs. Hardcore music doesn't pay well. That is what I said.

If the real talents in hardcore music would be smart enough and thinking about real money, they'd start producing EDM or house or trap or hardstyle under a very different name. Hell shit, if I would be a good composer and producer, I wouldn't even bother making hardcore. I love the music, but there's no money in it. I'd make EDM or house instead. And would you blame me? If you had to choose between a job that offered 100.000 per year or 20.000 per year, what would you do? And still, for some reason, these hardcore idiots choose the 20.000 over the 100.000. Why? Because they love hardcore I guess?

The real thing that bothers me is that so many of you cunts are complaining about this little tiny scene we're all in. Everybody seems unhappy. Nobody wants to do anything to make it better. The artists at least try to do something good and give the scene new input and impulses. But you fucking guys just sit behind your computer screens and cry about a bad anthem or a bad EP for which you didn't even pay anything. Some people invest time, money and energy into making something good for such a little scene of people, and the people just take it for free, complain about how shitty the music is, complain about the artist being a fucking asshole because he only wants money, delete the track and complain a bit more about how shitty the scene has become. To me, this sounds as the beginning of the end of hardcore music. Not because of the artists, but because of the people.

Great comment. Thanks for sharing my point of view! I completely agree with you

#19

People like you are the problem!, you enjoy shit quality music, and think everyone else should enjoy it too, no motherfucker! I have been raving since 1993 and I saw this scene change many times, because of money grubbing sell outs who ruined whole genres of music and stupid fucking man children like yourself who suck these sell out's dicks and expect the real fucking core to do it too...

I wanna be a hippy was chart music, and top 40 in the 90's which was made by Technohead on what label MOKUM and DJ Paul Elstak's Love U More,Rave On etc was also chart music on Roterdam Records, they were on MTV FFS,Scooter also chart music, so what in the fuck are you talking about? I was saying it was in the same category as EURO POP and people who listen to euro pop do know songs like I wanna be a hippy, because people I went to school with back in the day who would fit that critera used to drive in their cars listening to this music, and it's featured on stuff like Dance Mixes but anyhow MY POINT WAS THESE SAME GUYS TRIED TO MAINSTREAM HARDCORE! they couldn't on the scale they wanted to, so lots left to more clubbier and mass appeal music that was my fucking point retard.

I made the comparison to Skrillex. I didn't say you mentioned Skrillex. Learn to fucking read. and the rest of the trash you said is just that fucking trash. and buddy I'm not going to tell you who I am but I'm not some guy just sitting behind a computer so eat a dick on that one too.

#20

and I said what I said because I love Hardcore and I was around when it actually was HARD FUCKING CORE! if I didn't care, I wouldn't even mention anything..

I'm not going to be spoon fed bullshit and not call it for what it is, I'm sorry you don't agree with me and I clearly don't agree with you but at the end of the day you are just some asshole on a computer yourself, you just enjoy cookie cutter spoon fed bullshit trash.

Sorry homie that's not my cup of tea.

#21

Also, just one last thing I'll touch on then you, and your circle jerk buddies can hoop your fucking foreheads in la la land for all I care.

I never said they were fucking Puff daddy or something like that, but back in the 90's they were super popular, and they were on MTV,on Euro dance compilations and being played by top 40 dj's like Chris Shepperd who also was a former underground DJ who went on to mainstream fame with his Euro dance group Love Inc. I'm talking about the hardcore mainstream cheese dj's and producers who had nose dived the sound maybe to others like you - you disagree. Ok, cool but I'm not just some edgy teen who just started listing to masters of hardcore last week and thinks he's some kind of rave hero.

guys like Paul,Neophyte,Dano,Buzz Fuzz,DJ Isaac are doing pretty fucking well for themselves, so no they are not multi millionaires(maybe they are?) but they are well off. The scene was about the love in the beginning strictly about the love, it stood everything against what mainstream dance music was about... but these days it's the total opposite it's how you can market to as many people as possible even if you your self think the beats are shit or cheese...

Seriously though, nobody in hardcore is in it for the money. The scene is simply too small to actually earn big and real money like the hardstyle/rawstyle or EDM artists. With a few exceptions (Angerfist, Partyraiser, DJ Paul, Evil Activities)

in a nut shell I was saying the same kind of thing but giving you examples of how some of these guys turn into money generators(Not Billionaire hollywood superstars like you tried to make me sound like I was saying) instead of making beats strictly for the love like the old days you know what the scene was originally built on...

just look at the start of Rotterdam records quality and then listen to 95 onwards then you clearly see people were making "radio tunes" and why were they doing that for?

same reason why they keep recycling anthems over and over again... I guess for the love right?

If I'm going to buy something like the vinyl I collect and I do buy web also,it better be fucking quality. If it's shit I'm going to say so,I'm not going to be some mindless sheep like fucktard because some happy kiss ass cunt thinks I should.

I'll speak my mind when I fucking please. especialy when I buy something. Why the fuck are you here? talking about people downloading and deleting like you're on some high horse lol why would i keep music that i think is shit? seriously man you are a fucking idiot.

#22

Seems you feel offended. Are you angry? Did it hurt your anus when I countered your mongoloid complaining with plain logic and knowledge? Did you feel powerful downvoting my comment all by yourself with your 15 accounts? Your parents must feel so proud :)

#23
