I don't know if he was musically better in the past as his plain aesthetics alone made him a no go from the very beginning. What I know, that he and all his musical clones, Bloodcage, Dyprax, Bodyshock, Miss K8 etc. are total crap.

aesthetics - you mean the masks? art of fighters rocked the masks too..they were good too, back in the day. not so much anymore. the sad truth is, not so many hardcore artists are good anymore. evil activities new shit is horrible, for example. even nosferatu let me down. endymion? not even gonna mention since he does hardstyle. and i used to like his shit in the early 2000s especially.

I think there's still a good bunch of enjoyable hardcore artists, good old Drokz, The Unfamous, Goetia, Unrest, Deathmachine - some people would put Unrest into category Frenchcore, and Deathmachine in Crossbreed meanwhile, but who cares!

But if you put it down to what people usually call Mainstream Hardcore you're right, prime example is the Hardcore Italia podcast which has become utterly boring.

Think about it.. Why has endymion left the hardcore scene? Coz ppl like you who complain about their music being not hard enough. Sadly the hc scene is filled with mentally ill ppl who feel hurt when a dj does what he wants. Actually there is no book which tells you how a track has to sound like. You ppl try to solve your problems by listening to hard music and probaly take drugs to escape from reality. Fix your inferiority complexes and let the djs do what they want to do. No one is treating you to Listen to their music

The problem is that Angerfist's Sound is state of the art.
But he often use the same drums and the melodies have only the same simple structure and are no surprising. Also his dick sucking machine Miss K8 gets the same sounds, so there is no difference exept for pussy and boobs.
Even if he plays good sets and makes a good show, the fanboys are annoying.

The Deadfaced Dimension isn't very different from Pissin' Razorbladez tbh, with the difference being that 2006 album is more edgy, dark and screechy and the 2014 one is less amateur and a bit more melodic.
