Meeeeh, love Dolphin, but his newer stuff pales in comparison to most of his older stuff.
as they say, opinions are like arseholes....
most people's material sound nothing like they used to, i myself prefer older sounds, but i guess when you produce music you either get with the times or be left behind and only sell 10 records/mp3's since most people download for free today anyways as oppose to buying music (I download for free too, but i buy lots of music also and have since i was pre-teen)
My point is i understand why people's music change, whether i like it or not is a whole other thing, but coming from the older sounds i guess my mind is pretty open.
but "ones" musical taste is subjective anyways.
btw i wasn't crapping on ppl who download for free, lol i would be a huge hypocrite if i did that lol.. i just read it back and it looks this way, but that's not why i mentioned it.
it's also possible that the artists preferences change ;) I can understand he doesnt want to produce the same for 10-15 years. My music taste also varies if I find sth new, why shouldn't that happen to artists too?

yep that too.
I was slightly disappointed, but probably I hold him to an excessively high standard.
Requiem For A Samurai is one of my all time favorites
ckeck his tracks on oblivion underground, they also have this cinematic background. Not as good as requiem, but still
