Well, Scooter started out underground and they actually made some good hardcore and hard trance back in 93-95. It's around 95 Scooter started doing the commercial gimmicky stuff and ripping off other artists like Ultra-Sonic, Neophyte/Bodylotion, Paul Elstak, MC Skibadee ("Skibadee skiba danger, I am that lyrical ranger, hit you with the raw for sure apon your jaw"), Marshall Masters and god knows who else.

I guess that's what real hardcore and underground fans and even producers and some of the ones i named ^^^ have a problem with is the fact they love to blatantly rip off others original work, and get credit for taking something, and make it a million time worse.

I just feel sorry for people who don't know any better who come along and think that's what gabber, hardstyle, underground music is... Scooter lol *____*

We can say that about Justin Bieber too and any artist who is popstar esque. I wouldn't go as far as to say Scooter is popstar. well, maybe at one time in Europe.

I think in the start they made some good music of that time (early 90's), but are they Hardcore? do they represent underground and it's raves...
No and not for many years. They are the epitome of what you call bandwagoners, "trend whores"

The culture's way is suppose to be the exact opposite of what Scooter is and does. it's suppose to be against commercialism,etc. I know times have changed in a big way. The ecstasy has worn off hahaha no more Peace,Love, Unity and Respect all of that shit is thrown out the window the ecstasy has been traded in for booze and cocaine. so, everything is different today.

And I'm not saying you can't be a fan of Scooter. you can like whatever you want but let's not kid ourselves to who and what Scooter is and underground isn't one of them, that ship sailed many years ago.
