The Prophet always made Trance,House,Hard House even back in the early 90's, Boedha Records is an entire label of pretty much House and Trance which are most of Prophet's productions if not all under various other aliases.

Even when Newstyle came about, he was making Hardstyle type stuff at 145-150 bpm's as The Masochist, which had lots of Hard House elements you would hear in Chicago on labels like Underground Construction, Jasper Traxx, or even Belgian stuff.

My point is he had his feet in lots of areas from the very start...

But don't let that get in the way of your little narrative you are trying to paint here.
