whats the fucking point to first release the album with radio edits only and then each track as a single?

Trying to sell each track at least twice, obviously.
I wonder about producers' revenues from digital sales - seems like most people don't buy anything, no matter how many times these edits/extended mixes show up as singles or within compilations (thanks to warez scene) + looks like non-bandcamp WEB shops keep like 70-80% of a track's or release's price paid to themselves.

a while back on r/hardstyle this topic came up. audiofreq said that for all the spotify plays that Bioweapon - The Lost Empire he got $12. obviously he'd get more from beatport / itunes but these guys get most of their revenue from bookings.
