Not a"real" 320 web release. Re encoded from a lower bitrate

#2

Because it's older BC's release, not a spotify rip.

#3

letting you know that spotify streams only in ogg...

#4

source?

#5

google.com/search?q=spotify+ogg
(tricky search query, eh?)

#6

...which means everything from spotify with a mp3 extension is a lossy-->lossy transcode. Just like iTunes.

#7

just poor transcode (and uploader know about it, and still pos it). fun fact that most people here don't mind about that at all, and some even don't hear a difference between 128 & 320 but cries about that they need flac's, haha.

#8

I just provide people with these rips on xprm and I label them as being ripped from Spotify.
From that point on everybody is free to do with these files as they please. Download them, don't download them, your choice. The fact that they are posted here is out of my control.

All I do is convert a 320 OGG stream to a 320 MP3 file.

Maybe I'm not an audiophile like some people are but I don't encounter any problems with the audio quality.

But if someone is willing to buy the 320 files from Hardtunes or any other portal: Be my guest :)

Naturally it's so. But point is that probably you already had BC's release in the label's folder, considered it a proper 320 kbps WEB and thus skipped it when you ripped from spotify other releases requested at xprm.net. While no BC's Traxtorm release is a proper 320 kbps WEB, they're upscaled from 192 kbps (that look much like 128 kbps) WEBs shared before.

WAV >>>> FLAC ;)
