Everyone can make up-tempo because its sheitzzz. Every big producer says it, but noooo... children still listen it. nsd, drs, re fuzz, chaotic hostility, repix. All garbage. its not hard, it is broken.

i opened fl studio and made a standard uptempo kick in 3 minutes. (over the top sub bass, ear rape distortion)
composing a standard uptempo track probably takes less than a day.
if they wanted they could release a new uptempo album every week.
that's how cheap, rushed and uninspired uptempo is.
My greatest problem with it is that most of the kicks don't have a decent bass and punch, it's just high freq ear terror, very tiresome to listen ... Even Speedcore and Terror back in the days had more juicy kicks. Maybe I'm not hard enough and high freq ear damage is the new hardcore ^.^

While I am definitely not a newbie in terms of hardcore (I attended all parties at Sportpaleis Antwerp in the late 90's), this is one of my first comments here. I honestly do not understand this rage against the uptempo scene. Some massive headbanger tracks can be found among massively available crappy productions in every single hardcore sub-genre (uptempo, yes, but same applies to raw, terror, uptempo, industrial, happy, doomcore...). Just name one scene with all tracks being masterpieces, or one flawless producer... My point? Different strokes, different folks...
why do snobby faggy minimal techno heads only like shitty minimal and nothing else and make fun of people who listen to any kind of rave music especially hardcore? why is gabber a dirty word to producers and dj's who got their start in hardcore/rave yet seem to be ashamed and embarrassed of their past ? I will tell you why... because these people care what others think about them, they are trend whores and bandwagoners, because people like this are one track mind - meaning they only like one particular style,they want the whole world to conform to what they like... they fail to see that there is plenty of different sounds and styles... they can happily enjoy whatever it is they like to beat off too... but instead they see a point to let everyone know how much they hate this or that.

It is not about the genre. It is about the quality. The quality of the tracks are so bad that the good and respected labels were not releasing it. What happend, hardtunes start to work with partyraiser to release this garbage to make money. Raping the scene for money. Same as footworxx. They are a disgrace to hardcore. Im in the scene since 1996, also as a known producer. It is not hating on new genres, it is the fact that good producers make those tracks within an hour. They can do an album in a week. But like you said, different strokes, different folks. Every culture needs their "tokkie-core" people.
