Absolutely incredible album, this makes 95% of the releases on this website a joke. This is true creative hardcore, the whole reason the genre came about. The best DJ and best Producer in hardcore by a million miles. UK artists are so far ahead of everyone else, in 10 years everyone else might catch up with their shitty cheesy synths and crappy ping pong 909 kicks.

How is this not hardcore? This is the epitome of hardcore. Your shitty dutch cheesy pop from angerfist, dr peacock is not hardcore. Its hilarious how far ahead the UK artists are at the moment, you will never understand hardcore if you dont understand this, more work gone into one of these tracks than the entire catalog of tracks of your favorite artist. UK artists are leading the scene, come join us up here when you have got past your crappy 909 and cheesy synth from 20 years ago. I wonder why The Producer got featured in computer music magazine? Well, after listening to the whole thing: only the first track (and its darkside mix) is more drum & bass, the rest is pure hardcore, and damn is it good. No cheesy samples, no breakdowns just for the sake of a cool drop, just well over a hour of pure driving hardcore beats

i feel bad for people that doesn't like or better understand this style of hardcore, since they're just wasting their time listening to mainstyle (uptempo raw hardstyle) uptempo (fartcore) or dutch frenchcore (90s harddance with radium's 'french' kickdrum). that's the truth. I enjoyed every second of this masterpiece. track by track we go back to the 90s and then we're in the future (incognito), a true hardcore journey: thanks luke!

You are right, this style of music is too technical and complex for 90% of the idiots who listen to hardcore now. The music and scene has turned to shit. They prefer consume music which is why they like shitty uptempto and frenchcore and the dutch cheesy hardcore sound as there is nothing to it, no thinking, no creativity just a kickdrum over a crap synth or sample. That is why producers now make 2-3 minute tracks, because the morons listening to it cannot cope with anything longer. The scene is dead for true artists and musicians who make music like this as it will never be appreciated only by the few.

I certainly do not think any of the mainstream hardcore artists come close to the level of production skill as Producer.... But this album is kinda boring. Sounds sterile and empty, like the tracks have layers missing, or were never finished... no stand out tracks, just a blur of forgettable hi-tek industrial noise with no feeling

This is exactly how I feel about this album. I absolutely love Producer, but this album is very boring. It's brilliant on a technical level, but it lacks personality. All the tracks just plod along, going nowhere.

IMHO it's a good album, but yea. .. because it's the dj producer, I expcted also more than this. I think my favs are reference_points, cautionary_tales and separation_from_god. (and of course the remake of positive_outlook)

second this opinion. I respect the technical expertise in these tracks but it was always hard for me to remember a DJ Producer track that really got me hooked. I think the best part of his music is seeing the man himself enjoying the fuck out of his own tracks during his sets.

I agree about everything above tbh, it is really well produced, some amazing production and really nice sounds but the tracks don't go anywhere, kinda like 6-7 minutes of the same thing in nearly every track, even Positive Outlook after the great intro, its just the same sound all the way through, when you hear Dolphins remix it is nothing compared to that. The tracks all have a similar feel and sound and after 4-5 tracks in it becomes boring.
