Wasnt Nightbreed Nocturnal meant for the "a bit more special" releases? For a while they release more there than on the main label, is everything special now?

first of all... i didn't say there wouldn't be hc without hardstyle/rawstyle. i said it wouldn't be alive anymore.
hardcore collapsed, dj/producers moved to hardstyle (prophet, neophyte, panic, dana, etc..). there were almost no hc party's anymore. hardstyle got born and started hosting hc stages again. producers came back and started making new hc. new hc party's were born and old ones reborn.

easy like that.

the fact is that only cheesy dutch hardcore has this kind of problem with (raw)hardstyle. true hardcore like the dj producer & co. can't be confused with rawstyle. the same thing is happening with frenchcore raped by dutch artists and became a sort of happy hard dance. listen to the speed freak for example. do you notice the same problem? holland has the best parties, but the worst hard dance music. too much quantity over quality.

you're right. it doesn't matter where mainstream hardcore comes from (italy, belgium, ...), it still remains a dutch thing that kind of hardcore. the funniest thing is how they think they represent the hardest sound in electronic music, but fast trancecore or uptempo rawstyle, call it whatever you want, is simply weak. without hip hop, trance and screeches (lol) there wouldn't be mainstream hardcore, nor hardstyle. every style in music takes inspiration from other genres/styles, but within mainstream hardcore and hardstyle is embarrassing.
