This Thunderdome came out around mid 1999 when the Hardcore scene
was at the bottom of its popularity. There are some things to
note here:
First, it was the first Thunderdome to come out with 33 full
length tracks, rather than the standard 20 by 20 tracks format
which had been used for years.
Second, there is a lot of what by then had been labeled
“New-style hardcore”, being slower tempo hardcore with a techno
influence. There are even 2 pure techno tracks – Pannik by Speedy
J and Gameform by Joey Beltram!
Finally, this was the last Thunderdome to come under the Arcade
catalog since this label disappeared in 2000. Only after nearly 2
years did a new Thunderdome come out under ID
