only spanish frenchcore can be worse than the dutch one. how is it possible to call the label 'this is frenchcore' and to release such garbage?

#2

What about french frenchcore? I always hear about dutch frenchcore etc but is there anything particularly "french" about frenchcore in the first place? This is a serious question, as i don't listen to frenchcore, don't follow the genre so i really dont know why they call it frenchcore. Enlighten me, peasant?

Frenchcore originally is the sound of Micropoint, Fist of Fury, Armaguet Nad, Hardcoholics, Speedy Q's etc, it is a very distinct sound, very atmospheric with a really clear and straightforward 4/4 kickdrum. Listen to anything from 1998-early 2000s that was the best time in hardcore when the french sound became huge. The Frenchcore sound now is cheesy commercial garbage, and tbh, Radium from Micropoint popularized it in his Radium ‎– Paranoia Performance and In Extremist albums. But i know Alcore made the famous Frenchcore kickdrum. The frenchcore now, particular from artists like Dr Peacock, Sickest Squad, Sefa etc is a disgrace to the hardcore scene, they have gone so far away from what hardcore is about, it now sounds like UK Happy Hardcore from 1990s, its shit. Listen to Micropoint - Neurophonie, then listen to anything by Dr Peacock and tell me its better. They all sold out for the $$$$$$
