The medieval vibe with the cembalo(?) ruins this track 100%. It makes me feel like i'm some knight in a castle and there is a princess and a king and all kinds of disgusting shit. This is what music should not do. It should be tied into some specific time in history like that. It should be *timeless*.

Your average mainstream is never going to be timeless, it'll get dated and discarded like a used condom, never thought of again. The age of classics in mainstream hardcore is long over. No one will remember todays squeely cheese in 20 years time, so who cares?

Too many average producers, too many people making music for fame/money the market is over saturated even in Hardcore and because everything is available to download for free no one appreciates music the same anymore, its listen to one track, then another, then another...... 90% of todays hardcore no matter which genre is forgettable. Dont see a problem with creating a track with a medieval theme, there are very few new ideas to be had anymore. If you have been listening to hardcore for over 10-15 years there is pretty much nothing you havnt heard by now.
