last i checked Bloodlust was doing hardstyle. Now i guess there no genres anymore, who gives a fuck, everybody can be everything right? We are not allowed to categorize music anymore because that could hurt somebody feelings.
remember this is a collab with Deadly Guns - a Hardcore artist. Well, actually the "Hardcore" I'm talking about may trigger some people, so whatever you name it: uptempo, piep, trash, etc.
"Oh no people do multiple genres, I can't comprehend that"
Basically speed up bloodlusts rawstyle stuff and you get this, uptempo and rawstyle only differ in speed sometimes
Also, raw guys often finish their sets with uptempo, its disgusting, but thats how it is
Yes Promo was very vocal about being opposed to raw dj's finishing their sets with uptempo hardcore in a interview some time ago.
"Stay in your lane" kinda thing i guess? In the interview he said something like its so typical that when he is about to come on stage and there is a hardstyle dj before him and he notices they very often finish with uptempo hardcore.. something like "Leave it to us to do that" or some shit
I can kind of understand where he's coming from, but on the other hand, Hardstyle DJs have ended their sets with Hardcore for many, many years now. Even back in the early days of Hardstyle. Some Hardcore DJs end their sets with Terror. I just assumed it was fairly common practice for DJs to do that.
Harder styles has become such a mish-mash of different things, they're all basically just the same music at different tempos.
