He's right though... Even if said in a harsh way. :P

If you are a DJ and find any of the tracks good enough to be used in a set or at a gig.
Then you pay for it, otherwise you are just a cheap asshole.

And don't use the "exposure" bullshit reason.
The average listener DON'T buy the music especially if it's digital only.
And streaming plays on spotify, youtube etc. will only give peanuts in money for 99% of the producer base.
