Well, if you're not a wannabe DJ then I guess it doesn't matter.
but people who upload youtube or soundcloud,bandcamp etc rips I never understood that because a fucking monkey can do that it doesn't take a genius to rip music from wherever just download Audacity and have fun with your shit quality music. if that was what I wanted than I would do it myself. why would I even need to download from other people? that I think is stupid.
But Scene rips are usually pretty good obviously 128 kpbs and lower is fucking useless, unless you plan on listening to music on your Ipod, but even if you planned on putting it on a system it would just sound like muffled distortion and feedback..
But hey if you're anykind of DJ, I would probably buy my music and if I can't get whatever than I guess I'm shit out of luck... you can always buy vinyl and rip it yourself ;)
