Most of the songs on this list sound the same as the others,a lot of noise and little hardcore xD
I hope hardcore will become more versatile next year.
Just frenchcore / uptempo piep kicks becomes bored fast..
I know this is a very selective list, but it's time for more variety.
Hardcore is getting close to become a joke this way..
Have a happy new year !!
This list is hardcore's wall of shame. There are 1-2 tracks in the 100 that can be called HARDCORE. And maybe I said too much :D
Guys and Girls dont be angry this is a top 100 popularity contest and who knows each other in the scene, nothing more.
This list has multiple Hysta, Miss K8 and Anime tracks, all 3 have never made a single track themselves. This is will known amongst all the producers in the scene. Hysta pays many Thousands of $$$ to have her tracks made. The fact people go along with this and idolise her because she is a woman tells you evertything you need to know about the Hardcore scene. It is all fake just like most of this music and the Top 100 list.
The only way this changes is if you start supporting and actually buying underground artists music, this is how this works.
you know, nowadays everything is about money, parties and popularity without sense, which is why I lost interest in this top but it must be said that the tops from 10 years ago were glorious, there were all kinds of subgenres including industrial, frenchcore and horror in addition to mainstyle
Ghostproducers are a fact for most woman. However you are blaming the wrong persons. It is the booking agency that is abusing the.. how to bring this kind.. simple minded people? girl+ghostproducer+socialmedia+agency = headliner. There are also girls that do produce like doris. The music is badly made, but because she is really active on social media, she gets hyped for no reason. Qdance is helping with this and bkjn. Why? Money. They dont care about real talent as long as you bring money in their pockets. And who's faulth is that? YOURS. Because you are dancing on that bad music because you dont know any better i guess.
BUT i prefer all this over any uptempo "producer"
This is the most popular style in 2023... moh is mainstream hardcore, always was and always will be. the style changes but its always the most popular tracks.
I feel bad for argerfist and not for the fact that he didn't get first place but for the fact that all his songs are in this top that seems like a comical shame lmao, the same with Mad Dog, Ophidian and a few, but hey Moh Top 100 has now become just a passing trend, it is no longer like it was 2 years ago where a few still questioned the art and passion for hardcore after having experienced it on the sets.
I know it's a popularity contest, but my gawd what an embarrasment. The gringe in most of these tracks is just off the charts. I can't go 15s into some of them they are so bad. This music has lost its soul. Its all about who can make the most obnoxious sounding kick and ripoff the most insecure, wannabe-gangsta vocals. I'm so glad I got out. Appreciating early and millenium so much more these days. This shite has nothing on the golden tunes of yesterday.
RIP Hardcore, you will always be remembered as the great music genre from 1990-2014
Everyone on Facebook: ''Oh Hysta, it's so deserved! You're sooo great!!''
Um no?
Everyone knows she's ghost produced, along with all the others, and they're all just willingly perpetuating a bare faced lie. It's outright nauseating what has become of this scene. This chart is just a list of embarrassment and shame.
Guys, calm your tits! Back in the 90's lady Dana and Rotterdam Terror Corps were also GHOSTED. There is nothing new about this thing. It happens! ALL THE TIME :)
Lady dana only has a couple of collabs on her name so that most likely seems to be at least a joint effort.
RTC just seems to have consisted out of different people over the years. Much like bands do.
But it's kind of silly that all of the female hardcore producers look like they walked out of a Playboy magazine. It all started with Korsakoff and as soon as she became a success the floodgates opened.
Why yes, how could an attractive women ever know how to be a musician (especially when its all made in DAW). Holy autism
It's not even about "wahmen bad" or lack of talents. The fact is that all the top female producers (Hysta, Anime, K8, Korsakoff) out there are 100% ghosted and why were they chosen ? Because they are hot and it only appeals to thirsty guys on the front row. It's an insult to the scene as it makes think that we are only here for the dj's boobs, although many talented ones (boy or girl) can produce their own tracks and don't get the attention they deserved, because the light is put on the hot ones. Now the look is way more selling than the music
Hands Up, a genre that peaked around 2001 (Starsplash etc.) till 2005, was dead around 2010. Then, in the 20s, it raised again with lots of new artists and melting in Happy Hardcore and Hardstyle, even Goa and Frenchcore and bits of Hard Trance (which is still around). Also Hardstyle invented itself everytime (even many oldschool tracks to be had now).
So I'm sure that Hardcore will get better. It's greatest issue is that some producers only think that it has to be "hard", but they don't think about classic arrangements and good sound. It's up to the old producers and the scene to teach them a good sound. If the standards are being kept, it doesn't matter what theme the producer chooses. It can be happy, rough or sad, it has always been variant. Metal Bands aren't that choosy, they just make music and there are tons of subgenres to choose from - but the standards are the standards. You need to learn music and production, and the first producers were musicians and technicians - call out bad sound.
