Boring, uninspired album. Every track sounds the same, gets boring by track 4 or 5. Industrial hardcore is stuck in the past, the new kids don't listen or like it and the old guys only like a certain sound that is old like this album so no one can make anything different. Industrial/UK style hardcore is dead because no one can move on from the same old sound and the couple of producers who do something different get no attention. Feel like TTM and Prspct are on their way out. No wonder no main stages at festivals have industrial any more. Btw both Ophidian and Mad Dog are trash and doing nothing but going back to this old sound to stay relevant.
Never change a running system. There would be enough for young and old, if there was a quality control at the labels - even a quirky uptempo track can be very above mediocre or just "intro and piep kick" if they were produced like back then: Logical and interesting buildups, bass-oriented mixing. How is it that a mediocre Industrial/Terror track from 20 years ago has more interesting elements and arrangements, a banging kick with bass, not just high-freq pieps ... it's not that hard to produce, just raise the standards again - producing was never easier, so have expectations!
